Whilst waiting to have my car keys fixed – did you know that they need the internet for that? – I had a glance at today’s Press & Journal that was lying around the car showroom.
In the wise words of Abraham Lincoln: “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”
With that thought in mind, let me quote from page 30 of the P&J: “Alex Salmond insisted that, far from spoiling Scotland’s spectacular landscapes, windfarms actually made the country more appealing”.
Un-freaking believable.
Still, talk is cheap. Tax, that’s real though. Page 11 contains the quote: “Households face £400 annual windfarm tax” … which would be recovered through their electricity bills.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Alex Salmond is a fantasist, an idiot made all the more dangerous because he has a deluded vision.
I was accused of being a Daily Mail reader last week, though. That probably explains why I am so angry most of the time!
There, that’s my spleen vented for the day.
