QPP – derivative instruments

I’ve been reading that, apparently, The Times has reported that “Nearly £13.3 million of “derivative financial instruments” listed in the accounts turns out to be a wager made by Quindell through contracts for difference, on its share price rising”.

Aye carumba. This is truly terrible news if true.
