DOM (Domino’s Pizza) released its prelims (http://is.gd/sLXUYq) for the 52 w/e 27.12.2015 today. The shares were up in very early trading, but as at 9am were down 0.67%. Its lofty valuation is proving difficult to sustain despite the excellent fundamentals.
The results were cracking. Net cash is up, profit after tax is up 20%, revenues were up 9.7%, and dividends were up 18.6%. DOM is an amazing growth company, and it’s one of those ones I wished I bought a decade ago and held on.
Readers may recall that I bought some DOM in March 2015 at 789p, and sold in November 2015 at 1080p. Its rating seemed too crazy in November, so I decided to sell.
It’s a great company, and I would look to buy in again at a more reasonable valuation.
